We're always excited to welcome new members to the group.
How you can get involved, depends on your career stage.

Undergraduate
We are happy to host undergraduate students for 4-8 week summer placements.
If you are interested, you will need to obtain funding. For example, an Imperial UROP.
Please contact Marcus, explaining why you would like to undertake a placement and what funding you could be eligible for.
Masters
We are happy to supervise or co-supervise masters projects.
Please contact Marcus, explaining why you are interested in the group and what program you are part of.
PhD
We do not currently have any open PhD positions.
But, we can support applications to various PhD programs. For example, the President's PhD scholarship, or a CASE studentship - where the cost of a PhD is split between Imperial and a partner company.

- A short summary of why you would like to join the group.
- Which PhD program(s) you would like to apply to (and are eligible for).
- Attach a CV.
Postdoc
We do not have any open postdoc roles at the moment.
But, we can support fellowship applications! These include: Imperial Research Fellowships, Human Frontier Science Program Fellowships, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions etc.
If you would like to apply for a particular program, please email Marcus with:
- A short summary of why you would like to join the group.
- Which fellowship(s) you want to apply to (and are eligible for).
- Attach a CV.
Otherwise
Not everyone fits neatly into the above stages. For example, you may be looking for work experience or returning to research from a role in industry.
